Who is the event accessible to?
The event is open to all ages and is wheelchair accessible. Please ensure that children can sit through the show if they join us. We recommend the show for children aged 12 and above due to the dark environment and loud sounds that may be part of the presentation, and re-entry may be restricted.
What time should I arrive?
We recommend arriving at least 15-20 minutes before the scheduled showtime to allow ample time for parking, ticket collection, and seating.
Where do we park?
The parking lot at the OMSI is paid parking, but a flat fee of $2 after 5pm daily!
How long is the show?
The show is a feature length in the dome format running 42 minutes, excluding a brief introduction. The entire experience will take up around an hour of your evening!
Is seating assigned?
Seating is generally on a first-come, first-served basis and because of the spherical orientation of the show, every seat is a perfect view. We have reserved seating for those with special needs..
Can I take photos of videos during the show?
For the best experience for all attendees, photography and video recording are not allowed during the show. We encourage you to enjoy the immersive experience fully.
What if I come late?
In respect to all our viewers, the planetarium has a policy of no late entries once the show has begun. Please make plans to arrive at least 15 minutes early to ensure we have enough time to have everyone seated and ready to enjoy the journey!
What if I need to leave during the show?
Some individuals may find the dark environment or soundscapes uncomfortable for a variety of reasons. If you need to leave during the show, please do so quietly. Re-entry may not be permitted to avoid disrupting the experience for other attendees, but exceptions may be made at our discretion. Please make sure to use the bathroom before or after the presentation.
